The chairman of “Our Party” (OP), Renato Usatii, proposes to create a “presidential fund of rapid response”. He said on social networks that this is one of his key electoral initiatives, in addition to holding early parliamentary elections, appointing a government of professionals and switching to a presidential form of government.

“This fund will be a lifeline for citizens who need help today, not in a month’s time. The fund will be financed both from domestic private resources and from international partners,” Usatii emphasized.

Speaking about the change of the form of government from parliamentary to presidential, Usatii said that “the leader should be responsible for all major decisions.”

“After voting, someone wins elections and someone loses them. I propose to introduce the post of Moldova’s vice-president to represent citizens who did not vote for the winner,” he said.

Speaking about the government Usatii said that “we need a government of professionals.” “And it does not matter what the language they speak is called. I am interested in experience and desire to work for the country,” said the chairman of “Our Party”.

Renato Usatii, as well as other presidential candidates, are launching many initiatives and proposals during the election campaign. Most of them require large financial resources and changes in legislation, including amendments to the Constitution. All this is unrealizable without a constitutional majority in the parliament.
