The chairman of "Our Party" Renato Usatii called "poverty" the true "result" of the rule of the Republic of Moldova by the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS). The politician said in his Telegram channel that "during the four years of the PAS party's rule, the level of absolute poverty increased by 9 percentage points and the level of extreme poverty by almost 5 percentage points."

"Without press conferences, without applause, but with great shame, the National Bureau of Statistics published data that show the real "efficiency" of the PAS government led by President Maia Sandu. In four years, the absolute poverty rate increased from 24.5% to 33.6%. Extreme poverty - from 10.8% to 15.4%. Both in urban and rural areas, the figures show general misery," Usatii said.

According to him, more than 1 million people currently live below the poverty line.

"This is the reality behind the slogans about 'European integration' and 'rule of law'." PAS has not brought development to Moldova. It has brought only empty promises, rising prices and despair," the politician believes.

Once again, the leader of "Our Party" emphasized that only a professional government can save Moldova.

"The power that plunges the people into total poverty no longer has the right to stay in the leadership of the country! Moldova deserves a different path - not the one where the elected build their prosperity on people's poverty and misfortune, but a path where every citizen lives with dignity, with confidence in the future," Usatii said.

According to the politician, Moldova needs a professional leadership that works only for the country and its citizens.
